The “Man Cave” Compromise

When you live with someone that loves watching sports, creating a space that’s dedicated to game day is an appealing thought. Especially when “game day” can now be just about any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. Yes, the idea of a man cave is intriguing, but many of us don’t have the extra space required to create one or can’t afford to double-up on gear. So if your family room is where it’s at, the best you can do is to selectively choose the tech that goes into it.

This leads to the man cave compromise: choosing techy gear that performs on game day yet preserves the existing style and look of the multi-purpose room it’s in.

OmniMount achieved this man cave compromise with the OE120IW in-wall, full motion TV mount. The objective was to design a mount that had all the functionality of full motion, allowing it to extend forward, pan left or right and tilt forward or back, while being discreet and unobtrusive by nesting the mount inside of a box that ultimately gets recessed into the wall during installation. The result is a product that not only looks great but also offers tons of functionality.

If you’ve found yourself in a compromising situation, remember that there are a lot of products designed to integrate technology in a beautiful and pleasing way. Rather than choose one preference over the other, bridge the gap between tech and home and get both.
